RoHS Compliance Statement

WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)
RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances)
We continue to work to meet the requirements of the two EU directives above. As a manufacturer of components we will make all our individual parts available in a RoHS compliant version. We will clearly mark all of our product “RoHS Compliant”. Where stock of components is not compliant we will also clearly label the product as such.

The RoHS Directive has been in place since the 1st July 2006. As part of the Abacus Group, we are very proud to have been awarded the BSI Kite Mark for RoHS awareness and implementation. This means our business systems and processes are fully compliant with the requirements of RoHS and have been approved by an external independent body. They have also been fully integrated into our quality procedures, which means that all of our customers can be confident in our ability to handle RoHS.

The functionality that we have available is to identify the compliant status of all of our product codes and inventory. Every single batch of product received has its own ‘bin’ location and is assigned its compliant status, therefore there is no mixed product and the RoHS status is fully traceable.

Our customers can specify the compliant status they wish to receive, which can be determined by an individual order or by customer account number.
If any other stock information is required, please do not hesitate to contact our sales team, who will be happy to answer your questions.
